Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sinful Shores' website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Age Requirement

Our products are intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to access this website, browse our products, or make a purchase. By confirming your age upon entering the site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Sinful Shores reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access to anyone we reasonably believe to be under the required age.

Products

Sinful Shores sells handcrafted wood paddles intended for use by consenting adults. Each paddle is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. Product images are representative; due to the nature of natural wood, variations in grain, colour, and pattern are normal and not considered defects. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse any order.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit / Debit Card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major cards, processed securely through Stripe
• PayPal — processed through Stripe Checkout
• Interac e-Transfer (Canada only) — upon selecting this option, the product is reserved for 48 hours while you send the e-Transfer; if payment is not received within 48 hours, the reservation expires and the product is released back for sale

All transactions are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). International customers may be charged a currency conversion fee by their bank.

Interac e-Transfer Terms (Manual Payment)

• e-Transfer orders are a manual payment method. We do not withdraw funds directly from your bank account.
• Your order is marked pending until funds are actually received by Sinful Shores.
• You must include the provided reference code in the transfer memo/message so we can match payment to your order.
• If payment is not received within the reservation window (typically 48 hours), we may cancel the order and release the product back for sale.
• A transfer marked as "sent" in your banking app does not count as completed payment until funds are received.

Shipping

We currently ship to Canada and the United States. Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days. Handcrafted items may require additional production time. Shipping times vary by destination:

• Canada — 5–10 business days
• United States — 7–14 business days

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight/size and are not included in listed product prices unless explicitly stated. Orders ship from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, so rates and delivery times vary by destination. You will receive tracking information via email once your order ships. Sinful Shores is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or customs processing.

Customs & Import Duties

Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in our pricing or shipping costs.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the handmade, one-of-a-kind nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

Damaged items: If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Significantly not as described: If the product you receive is significantly different from its listing description, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including product images, text, graphics, logos, and designs — is the property of Sinful Shores and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Assumption of Risk

By purchasing a product from Sinful Shores, you acknowledge that you are a consenting adult and accept full responsibility for how the product is used. Sinful Shores is not liable for any injury, damage, or harm arising from the use or misuse of our products.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sinful Shores shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products, website, or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
